Mission Statement

For 75 years, the Union Gospel Mission has been ministering to the homeless and needy in Chattanooga and the Tri-State Area. We have provided over 2.4 million safe nights’ sleep, clothing and other needs by the tons, spiritual mentoring to thousands of individuals, and the opportunity for our clients to see their lives changed! We currently specialize in residential programs for men in crisis and outreach to the community.

We serve as the hands, feet, and heart of Christ. We bring God’s love and forgiveness to each person we meet, guiding them to a better trajectory in life.
